Update

As you may have noticed the number of posts that I have made to the blog lately has been reduced.  This is because I have been so heavily involved with the final stages of the new site.  We are already well behind schedule but it is now largely complete but I still have to go through the entire site and review content personally.

The testing phase has begun and we are on target for a release on Monday the 21st April.  Lets hope that this will be the last time I have to say a date.

Anyway I need to 'lock' myself away for the next four days and focus on going through all the content to make sure it is all correct.  So, I have decided not to do any further posts until Wednesday next week so I can meet the deadline.  As from the beginning of the following week things will be back to normal.

Hi Warren,

Good luck with getting the new site up and running!

When you have time (I know you are extremely busy) I wanted to ask if you could please compare GNL Golden Neo Life and Xtend-life's products. I can't persuade my parents to change and thought that you might be able to help. They are NZers too (I'm an expat in Japan) using an American company that doesn't look particularly 'honest' in my opinion. Anyway, I'd love you to help me persuade them to change.

Thank you

Reagan

This morning all over the papers and TV here in the UK there were reports saying vitamins linked to early death by danish reseachers who surveyed something like 250.000 people.

Its disturbing news, have you seen the reoprts?
I would appreciate very much if you could look into this please!

Hi John,

Yes, I have seen this. It is absolute distorted nonsense. Unfortunately I don't have time at the moment to give a detailed response so I will ask Joanna to prepare something and post it shortly.

Thanks for raising this.

How will your new skin care products compare to this top range skin products?

http://www.euoko.com/

Will they be as effective as them?
And what about the content, do you have more content or less?

Thanks!

Hi Jenny,

I still believe that our products will be superior to this. But, I will pass it over to our R & D people to give me a more detailed comment and let you know.

They have a fancy website OK, but WOW the prices!!!

Hi John,

With regard to that disturbing news report, Joanna has now prepared a report. Because this will no doubt be of interest to a lot of readers and because it is somewhat lengthy I have done a new post for it today under General Health.

Hi Jenny,

Here is a report from our Cosmetic chemist re the Euoko products. I should also mention that we are about a third of the price.

Comments to Euoko skin care:

- Could not find any INCI declaration regarding ALL ingredients ( products ingredients)

- Not only active ingredients are important, the formula needs to be balanced with the right oils and emollient to nourishing the skin and enhance the penetration of active ingredients

- For instance if you are using only cheap emollients or cheap bases you don’t get the right efficacy

- All the claims are quite scientific with the final result ‘ this is the knife in the jar’ which is nonsense

- Could not find any natural vitamin E which is important in high value skin care products

- They are marketing a cleanser with Hyaluronic acid; HA does not do anything because the application time-cleanser isn’t long enough to show any efficacy of HA though penetration

- Peptides are equivalent to Cynergy TK, but Cynergy TK has film forming properties as well, important for eye gels/creams to avoid transepidermal waterloos, could not find any info related to TEWL or film forming agents

- Micro algae is equivalent to Wakame but I believe they do not use 2%

- They claim ‘…oligopeptide help your pores breath…’; if they are using mineral oil or oils which clog’s the pores they can’t ‘breath’ and oligopeptides can’t penetrate

In summary Xtend-life products are more effective because all ingredients are well balanced, sorted to have maximum penetration and maximum effecacy.

Hello Warren,

Thanks for the response!

Will Xtend-life have all the ingredients Euoko claim to have in their products range or more or even more effective ones?

I get spots at times which leave dark marks behind and they have a very expensive brightening cream which should remove dark marks and hyperpigmentation naturaly, will you have such a product too? And if so what are the ingredients?

And when is you skin care products out?
I might not buy Euko stuff if its soon.

Thanks!

Jenny

Hi Jenny,

Yes, all the ingredients that we are using are every bit as effective and some more so. One of the products is a natural lightening day cream and it contains all the special ingredients such as CynergyTK which you will learn about shortly, plus a special kind of nutgrass extract developed by a german company. This is a natural lightener and works really well. Unlike some lighteners which are chemicals this is natural and is actually an anti-irritant. The lightening effect was discovered as a 'by product' of that action.

We are ready to release the products but they are incorporated in the new website which is now finished and which our programmers are in the final testing stages.

I cannot say which day it will go live, I have made that mistake to many times before but I can say that it will defintely be next week.

Euoko, is a good example of a company exploiting the desire of people to have good skin. I have no doubt it a good product, but then no better than ours. I think it is immoral to price it so high though so it is only affordable for the few.

Wow, i did not know that Xtend-life will have skin care products....

Will you have something for under eye dark circles?
And will it reduce fine lines or wrinkles?

And are your creams oily and cause blemishes for people with oily skin or does it absorb fast?

I cant wait for them to be out!

Hi Lisa, I can happily say the answer to all of your questions are yes!!
April 19, 2008 | Registered CommenterWarren Matthews
Will you launch the new website next week?
I hope it all goes well for you!
April 23, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterDave
Thanks Dave,

We are doing our best to make it happen. We have 5 people working full time to try and do this. I am reviewing all the content at the moment.
April 23, 2008 | Registered CommenterWarren Matthews
That sounds great, that Xtend are also going to be doing skin poducts, we are in need for good natural products for the skin.

I cant wait to hear the date when they are out since my last skin products were a rip off!

I wish all work goes smooth an well!!!

Thanks!

Thanks Davina,

We hope to go live next Tuesday or Thrusday. We have completed the initial production run and am now working on the final technical stages of the website so that customers can order.

I wish this project goes well for you Warren and pays off!
You have been indeed working on this very hard.

I hope the launch goes well for you next week, i know as a online marketing expert, it always does not go as fast as we want things to finish.

But better delay than have a faulty website and angry customers and complaints.

Best wishes!

Thanks Mohammed,

You are so right. We just ran into another bug which has cost us another couple of days, so it will be the end of the week next week...best case.

Because we have included customer accounts to make it a lot easier for regular customers and also improved the loyalty program there has been a tremendous amount of new programming. Also, linked in with this is all new back end systems that will enable us to handle customer service even more efficiently..

Hi there,

When will that energy prodcut be out that you talked about sometime ago?

Red BULL Is not doing well for me now!
May 6, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterDamian
Sorry Damian but the trials we did on it did not live up to our expectations so we are not proceeding any further.. They were not better than the current Natural Energy formula so we are staying with our original product and just tweaking it a little to make it better.

If you are finding that Red Bull is not giving what you need it is probably time to address your nutritional foundation and as such I would suggest that you try a full daily dose of Total Balance and Omega 3 DHA. It is not instant like an energy product and it takes a while to build up but it will help your overall energy levels whilst at the same time reducing your long term risk of a degenerative disease.
