How can I raise my Testosterone Naturally??

Question: from Winston

I am curious to find out what can I do naturally to enhance my testosterone to optimum levels? I will take supplements if they are the right kind and they work.  I am tried seeing advertisements promoting these products which is nothing more than to con job for consumers.

Answer: from Warren

There are basically two ways in which to raise your testosterone naturally.

One is by taking natural supplements which can help stimulate your natural production of testosterone.  There are a number of herbs that can help this with Tribulus perhaps having the most scientific support for this purpose.

The other way is to reduce the amount of testosterone that your body is producing from being converted into estrogen.  Quite often men are still producing enough testosterone but as they age a greater proportion is converted into estrogen thus resulting in low levels of testosterone.

There are also natural substances that can help prevent this conversion and in this case the best documented one is Chrysin...in modest amounts.  Some men tend to take large doses of this but it is a case that more is not necessarily better and indeed can be harmful.

Of course you also need a multitude of other nutrients to stimulate your glands, organs and all parts of your body and cells in general as they are all interdependent on each other.  In this regard the nutrients that I mentioned above should also be combined with a broad range of other nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, trace elements, amino acids, bio-flavonoids, herbal extracts and other co-factors.

I understand and appreciate that there are many advertisements promoting testosterone enhancement, and as you pointed out many are 'cons'.  Even many of those that are genuine are quite outrageous in price if you carefully examine what you are getting.

We have prepared a protocol for helping raise testosterone which you can review by clicking here.  It involves the use of our Total Balance Men's Plus combined with our Male Rejuvenator.  The Men's Plus has the Chrysin within it and many other essential nutrients that I referred to.

Male Rejuvenator has Tribulus plus a number of other helpful nutrients.

Is it guaranteed to work?  No, but then no product is, although some Companies may make such a claim.  Even pharmaceuticals don't work for every one.  However, provided that your body is not severely compromised in some way it is highly probable that our protocol will work...but don't expect an instant result.  It takes time.

It took me a couple of years to raise my testosterone levels.  For a copy of my last results click here.

Even if these two protocols don't raise your testosterone as high as you would like Winston, you will certainly be doing your overall health and prostate a favor.  If this doesn't work then you can be assured that the other natural products on the market will not either.

Sorry to sound dumb, but what is the need to boost testosterone all about? I am a 57 yr old male. Do I need this?

Hi Ken. You may not need to although most 57 year olds do have a deficiency unless they follow an exceptionally good diet, exercise vigorously and supplement.

You would probably be aware if you were getting deficient if both your libido and spontaneous ability in the bedroom is less that it was when you were in your early 40's. Although there are other reasons that can cause this, low testosterone is often a factor.

If you are experiencing the above then it might be a good idea to supplement rather than wait until your levels get to low and they become hard to restore naturally. Good levels of testosterone are also important for overall health.

I've heard that aside from supplements, one can increase testosterone by exercise. I would support that statement based on my own experience, as lifting weights and running have a marked effect on my sex drive. Although admittedly this could merely be the additional blood flow and not specifically a rise in testosterone.

(one more note: Drinking heavily - more than say 2-4 drinks an evening - is one way to REDUCE your testosterone)

I read your article "Natural Protocol for Boosting Testosterone" and saw your results after two years. My question is, what is the protocol you followed after the first 60 days and are currently following now?

Hi Matthew,

Yes, I would certainly agree that exercise, in particular weight bearing exercise is certainly beneficial in helping either maintain or raise testosterone. Weight bearing exercise helps trigger off an overall hormonal cascade which I have no doubt impacts on testosterone, although I confess I have not studied the exact degree in which it may help.

Hi Jack,

Back then I was not actually consciously trying to raise my testosterone. Instead I was just working on a general protocol to acheive good health. The raising of the testosterone was a natural by product of that.

All I was doing was taking 6 tablets of our Total Balance. Nothing else as in those days that was the only product that we had developed. Since then we have improved the Total Balance significantly and are now on our fifth generation.

I was reasonably careful about my diet and I continued as I always have to exercise with weights moderately.

It did take a lot longer than 60 days, more like a couple of years, However, I believe that similar results could be achieved a lot quicker now with our current Total Balance Men's Plus if it is combined with our Male Rejuvenator.

What is my current regime? Much the same, other than the amount of supplements I take, I exercise at least 3 - 4 times a week for 30 minutes a time, do my best to only eat quality food and avoid any processed foods or junk food. I also take 6 Total Balance Men's Plus a day, 3 Omega 3 DHA, 6 Male Rejuvenator, 4 Cardio-Klenz, 2 Bone-Protec, and 6 Neuro-Natural General.

That's a lot of supplements I know but I get the benefits. If I wanted to cut down on this I would take 6 TB Mens Plus, 3 Male Rejuvenator, 3 Neuro-Natural General or Memory, and 4 Cardio-Klenz(4 months on and 4 months off)

I used to take Total Balance but switched to Male Rejuvenator a few months ago. I take two pills a day except when I have a date and then I take four pills. If for some reason she doesn't show, I feel pretty randy in the evening.
I attribute this to the double dose of Male Rejuvenator.

Even though I'm 62, I don't think I'm ready for the full dosage of six pills a day.

That's quite funny Jim. Yes, you had better stay on the lower dose. :)

Oh Jim...I should have also suggested that you stay on the TB Men's Plus even if it is at a lower dose rate. You need that to help maintain the underlying health of all your organs.
